I am running IMAIL 6.0.x on an NT4 system. Over the last week, the
security log has been filling up with the system logon message, event 528
and then the logout message event 538. These messages, signifying a
successful logon and logout are occurring constantly,ie. logon and logout
at the same time, for various users. The log fills up in 5 minutes. The
logon process is POP3D32. I have tried, with Ipswitch on the phone, to
stop logging from POP. I have also replaces POP3D32 with a new file sent
from Ipswitch. No luck! Have I been hacked? I am also having trouble
with Dial-Up Networking, in that the dialup part is working, connection is
made, but the user gets the message "No Domain Logon Server can be found
..." Seems like these may be connected, but I can't figure out how.
