"Maildrop locked and ready" isn't a problem. It's just a message that IMail sends
(per the RFCs) during a POP3 session, after the password is given, to indicate that
"all systems are go". If IMail doesn't send that during a POP3 session, then you
won't be able to get your mail. So it's a good message.
It sounds like you are having a problem, and are somehow getting this message? What
is the problem that you are having, and where are you seeing this message?
