OK, I've finally talked the boss into a hardware upgrade, and wanted to run
some things through the experts.

Here's what's pretty much been figured out already:

Dual processor (probably pIII Gigs, we can get 'em fairly cheap)

1 Gig of PC133 RAM (amazing how cheap this stuff is now)

Here's the tough part, what to do on the drives...

I want a separate spool I'm thinking of a RAID 1 pair of 10,000 RPM SCSI
drives.

For the OS / Mailboxes etc. I still want a fault tolerant set and was
thinking about a 3 disk set running RAID 5.

I'm not a SCSI or hardware expert and was looking for suggestions on a SCSI
controller, and maybe a few opinions on the whole setup.

I've looked at the Adaptec AAA-133U2, and it looks like it will do what I
want, but I don't know if it's capable of running the 2 different RAID types
simultaneously.
