Harry,
Changing the SMTP Security to Relay for Anyone, should allow any to send via
your server, but it does not change the SMTP Auth situation. True, they will
be able to send, but they still won't be using AUTH , unless they get the
response back after the EHLO command. Yes, if it were a Relaying issue,
adding their IP to the Address table should remove the need for SMTP Auth.
Best test I can suggest is find someone there willing to follow directions
and give then a Telnet script to follow. Get the log from the client side
and that can tell us more, too.
