Tried a couple more things and find that if I make the lists.txt file read
only, IMail can still modify the file and change the permissions. So I then
changed the security on the file, so that 'System' has read only access,
then the file was no longer modified and I was still able to create a new
list. Again, I have not fully tested this, but so far, I have not had any
problems after doing this.
Here is my modified lists.txt:
# Ipswitch, Inc. list server
# Sorry, you cannot get the list names!
I don't think it would be a good idea to have a completely empty file as the
email coming back, won't tell the sender anything and the message will be
'empty', so that is why I put the second line in the file (# is to show a
comment!).
