Well Daniel,
If this is the case, than I would fully expect to have some time AFTER the
information is available to decide to upgrade at the competitive price. The
simple cat is Dan, the Ipswitch's unwillingness to release any information
about version7, combined with the price for previous users going up the same
day that information is made available, smacks of duplicitous marketing, and
tend to make me reconsider putting my mail services in the hands of a
company that does business this way with their loyal customers. I say this,
and understand, we have two unlimited copies, sill with a valid SA, and
never a major upgrade. So I am getting it either way, two copies no less.
Whether I chose to use it or not depends on where I believe we fall in
ipswitch's priorities. Right now it looks like getting that extra few
hundred dollars out of us is all that is important. Pleasee see that this
gets passed up to the people making these decisions.
Some recently said it succinctly, "Cross me once, and I'll walk...."

I'm not in a position, that I can release, even for my valued forum friends,
any documentation, manuals or other materials, prior to the full release of
the product. I wish I could help, but cannot. Boy, I would like a document
like you suggest, too!
As for the upgrade program, most is pretty standard stuff, not a whole lot
different than what Ipswitch has done in the past. I'd have to re-read
(carefully and in the originals!) the notices, to say more. Maybe later, I'm
still catching up from a weeks vacation. You idea of an extension, seems
like a reasonable idea, so it might actually come to pass.
