Do you have evidence that ISC BIND at http://bind8nt.meiway.com/ under 2000
is not reliable?

My experience says that this would be an excellent solution to his problem,
and would run very well on the same box as his other things.

If anyone has had problems with this type of arrangement, I'd be interested
to hear about it.

On the other hand, I *have* had problems with Microsoft DNS on both NT 4 and
using Active Directory under 2000. Some of this may have been operator
error, but I haven't run into these problems with BIND.
