Don't worry about the time. So you did get the MDN popup on your machine,
then confirmed that you wanted to send the receipt, but the msg did not
send? Have you looked at the source of the msg in the Outbox? And you
said "the user" is using OE--what are you using? If the MUA allows for
multiple mail personalities/identities/services, is it possible that you
have received the msg through a profile that has invalid SMTP server
credentials? I've done this before with Eudora--responses to a msg
received under a given personality get sent using the same personality, so
if that personality is set up for receiving only (like an secondary mailbox
somewhere), the message will not send. Same in OE.
