If you are trying to use ASP and CDONTS on a Machine running Imail you will
have problems with incoming ports and IIS. In order to make CDONTS work you
have to change the incoming port of the smtp setting in the IIS to 26 or
2525 or 5025 or any unused port. Keep the outcoming port as it is "25".

I have CDONTS using IIS -of course- and Imail running just fine.

here is an explanation
http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19990809-DM01.htm

If you want to send the messages in que just turn off an on the smtp of the
IIS. That's all
If you don't want to use Microsoft SMTP services, there are a lot of
components out there: OCXmail, ASPmail, Jmail.
