Not quite correct. I received it from a sales droid at Intelek Technologies Corporation after she harvested my email address from this list. > I could understand if they were the only presence in this market and > were taking advantage of that to gauge customers (not ethical, but at > least straightforward)...but here it seems like the sort of complex > price-and-presence warfare that Microsoft lives on. I agree with you completely Sandy. Ipswitch made their mark by having a low cost yet powerful mail server program. But this antiviral solution is far more expensive than the Imail program itself. I wonder at this logic and it smells of Symantec and not Ipswitch as the bully feeding the bull. I have not been a fan of Symantec since the MS-DOS days... so it is not a deep loss to me. I do believe Declude will remain a strong player with the lineup of products they have. Once the flood of support calls started this fall with all of the new virus' problems, my partners decided it may be a good addition to the anti-Spam filtering we already provide (using Len's ImGate for over a year now!). We will be using Declude and F-PROT within the next 30-60 days.
