The registry is defenetly necessary. I found "How to move IMAIL to a new computer" in knowledge base. but since a server won't be replaced, host name and IP address shouldn't be copied. I was thinking to copy IMAIL\Domains\host.domain.com\Users\ to secondary server's registry. By doing this, all users are registered to sec. Then copy C:\IMAIL\host.domain.com\Users folders to sec. server.
How do you think? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Len Conrad Sent: Thursday, November 29, 2001 3:41 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] User mailbox replication >No not hot-mirrored registry, but if you figure that one out you should be >able to make some good $$$. ??? >If the users are setup on both boxes, using >data replication on his folder should work. but when the pri goes down, the sec won't run, so the registry is needed.
