Forwards and rules are in the mailbox directories(don't know about ver7 but
if not this will be oversome by having a SQL database. If the mailbox
directories are kept on a common store shared between the servers, they will
be no data loss. In other words all you are replicating is the registry
really - the actual Imail settings. If you use a shared store and Co-Standby
server below, it should work. If you are really interested in all the
possibilities you could try Microsft Clustering Services. Check out Magdy
Ibrahim from this list. He has offered to help with that implementation,
apparently he has it up and running.

Magdy's Cluster has shared storage with IMail on two servers each with Scsi
drives. In the event of a failover on Server1, the current registry info(as
I understand it) on Server1 migrates over to the second Server2. Server2
does no load balancing or simultaneous processing and in effect is really a
standby server that "switches" automatically.

If all of these requirements are met, you will be fine. How to meet
requirement (d) is up to you. Sandy

What if someone were not using Sql, wouldn't there still be a problem?
