If you are happy with your results from a spam filter then there is no
need for another solution and I would urge you to quit searching.

On the other hand if you want to be able to use any or all of the
various dns filters with IMAIL plus a number of other SPAM tests then
Declude provides a very inexpensive solution for IMAIL servers. You can
continue to use imail filters too. SPAM filtering is as much art as
science and I haven't found anything that provides a perfect solution.
That is true of DECLUDE too. However I stop a lot of spam with declude
and I am very happy with the results.

I am puzzled by your statement about pricing as I've seen no products
that provide this kind of service at this price level other than
declude.

In addition there are a few other solutions available. At least declude
is not the only solution.

That said I have never had better service and support from any software
vendor than I have enjoyed from Scott Perry. I don't know the official
rules on updates but I've had it for more than one year and have not
paid any additional money.

Add to that the fact that I can use the same executable for virus
scanning with an inexpensive command line scanner then I think it
declude is a very real bargain for IMAIL servers.

-----Original Message-----
I understand somewhat what Declude is, but there doesn't seem to be much
detail on it on the website. I'm confused why this is so much better
than the IMail filters, AND it seems that $295/$495 is a bit out of line
for a spam filter. Could someone enlighten me here about why this is
THE answer, and why it is worth what they are charging. Does the cost
include updates for a year ? How are update performed, etc.

thanks
