It's not so much "better" than the IMail filters, just different. The IMail filters do exactly what they claim to, but some people find it easier to have someone else do the work (listing mail servers that are sending spam). You'll find that there's no perfect answer to spam detection. You can also go to http://www.declude.com/spamtrap.htm to get a good idea of why people use Declude. It is constantly updated, and shows the last 20 spams to arrive in our spamtraps, along with which test(s) they failed, if any. Right now, it shows that all 20 spams failed at least one test, and that 18 of them (90%) have a "weight" of at least 10 (our new weighting system is unique, and should virtually eliminate false positives). >, AND it seems that $295/$495 is a bit out of line for a spam filter.
