PostfixGate servers allow the admin to turn filtering RBL filtering off for a local user (per e-mail address) or even leave the local user's filtering turned on, but allow e-mail to come in from someone who has e-mail through a blocked server. The admin can also turn filtering off for an entire locally hosted domain name, or allow a normally blocked domain name from the outside to send mail to local users. An example would be a company who hosts their domain name with Mindspring, and all mail goes through Mindspring's blacklisted server. The admin just adds that company's domain name to a whitelist and their e-mail gets through the filters, but other Mindspring mail or Spam would not. All this can be done with IP addresses also. If you have a customer (single e-mail address) or a customer who hosts their domain name with you, and they haven't paid their bill you can add them to a badaccounts list, and they won't be able to send e-mail to the outside world until their bill is paid. If you have a customer who is sending out Spam, and you know the subject header then you can block their outgoing Spam as well. PostfixGate servers are extremely flexible.
