No, you're thinking of "Ignore source address" check for webmail. This is different. >From release notes, "auto-deny possible hack attempts" functions like this: - Will now disconnect sessions where a command line of longer than 512 (RFC limit) is issued, unless it is in data mode. Will optionally automatically add the offending source address to the deny access table if the table is in "Allow all except" mode and the "Auto deny possible hack attempts" flag is set in the "SMTP Security" tab of the Control Panel.
