Version 7 seems pretty stable now and virtually all known problems have
been repaired. It seems to me that Imail works best on a new, fresh OS
install with plenty of resources and playing by itself. I also think it
works best using the registry database.

I've been a user for a little while now and all the support I've ever
needed has come almost immediately from this list. The list is a
wonderful resource for IMAIL. You do want to buy tech support however
to get the upgrades imho.

The ImailAV is competitively priced in its class but there are other
options you can consider that are less expensive and work nicely.

In my experience Ipswitch has generally been professional, courteous,
and helpful. I think they compare very favorably with other software
publishers I've used.

I believe IMAIL still represents the best value in Microsoft platform
mail servers. However, you may want to see http://www.serverwatch.com/
for a list of others. I find it is always a good idea to monitor
support lists before buying. I generally find that all products and all
vendors have problems of some kind if you lurk long enough.

I'd buy IMail again given the same constraints.

I was ready to buy IMail (with the AntiVirus add-on and Support
Subscription) until I recently subscribed to this list. In the last
couple of days, I have read about:
- Problems with IMail Version 7being very buggy.
- Problems with IPSwitch Technical Support (this was one of the BIG
reasons that I had chosen to go IMail).
- Excessive cost of Anti-Virus option.
- Acusations of unprofessional conduct by IPSwitch.
