I'd spring the big $40 for the Win version so you can have F-Prot do automatic virus def updates for you. I have mine set for 6-hr intervals. Totally brainless and uses only a bit of memory. I'm a fanatic about pulling out anything unnecessary, and F-Prot -- especially compared to what Norton wants to do -- is a lean solution I have no problem with.
