Hi Len, I am no competition... I'm not at all interested in selling or promoting FreeBSD/Qmail instead of PostFix... or anything like that... I didn't do any A/B comparisons between Qmail and Postfix. I did reject Sendmail. I just find it interesting and somewhat reassuring that we evolved similar solutions.
Thanks for the reply and I'll check out your setup later on today. Are you interested in my setup at all? +----------------------- Mike Middleton http://www.texasstar.net 817 303-7373 +----------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Len Conrad" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, February 03, 2002 12:18 PM Subject: Re: Re[2]: [IMail Forum] Log Files > > >I assume IMGate is a system with external Unix-based SMTP daemon and > >anti-virus and anti-spam filtering used as pre- and post-processor for IMail > >installations? > > don't assume: IMGate.MEIway.com > > >If so, it would be interesting to compare it to what I > >created using FreeBSD and Qmail. > > same concept, but mine's more better :)) > > postfix is faster, and much simpler, with just one config file, to set up > for *nix newbies. > > Len > > > > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html > to be removed from this list. > > An Archive of this list is available at: > http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
