Well, that's why it takes them a long time to get to the main page.

You have an AV program that is scanning the .mbx file, which can take a lot 
of time for large .mbx files.

What files?  The main.mbx file?  If that happens, the user won't be able to 
get any of their E-mail (virus-laden or not).

Well, getting rid of the virus is the first step.  You might want to 
consider using a program designed to scan E-mail for viruses, such as our 
Declude Virus or IMail AntiVirus.  That way, the user shouldn't get a copy 
of the virus in their mailbox in the first place.  And, by not having to 
scan the .mbx files, access to their E-mail will be faster and you won't 
have to deal with all those virus warnings.  And, as a bonus, the sender 
(and recipient and others, if you want) of the virus will receive a 
notification that they were sending a virus.  And, all types of viruses can 
get caught (scanning an .mbx file with a standard virus scanner may only 
catch a handful of viruses, such as only HTML viruses).
