Most likely means you are not logging.
START->programs->Administrative Tools->Local Security Policy
->Local Policies->Audit Policy->
Audit Object Access
Process tracking
system events
turn on both success and failure
Once you have auditing working then try to send a message again
via web messaging and then check the event logs.
