Len, I did search the Users Guide and IMail Knowledge Base. However, I was searching for "importing mailboxes," "exporting mailboxes," "moving mailboxes," "mailboxes," and etc. And my search results offered a lot of very good information, which I may need in the future. But, my results did not offer me a solution to moving my mailboxes to another mail server.
So I used my third resource and asked my question on the IMail forum. Please don't reply to this subject any longer. I think "it's in the Imail manual and knowledge base" is euphemistic enough for RTFM. >Far be it from me to generalize, but I suspect no one >is here because they already know everything. That's why a lot of people spent 100's of hours writing/maintaining manuals, knowledge base articles, and list archive. > And if, >by chance, I am wrong in this assumption, how better >to prove that you do know everything than to actually >provide the answer instead of an insult. mail admins really ought to have at least thumbed through the .pdf. Control-F and a few guesses at the keywords is all they need to do. >Should it be the case, after all, that you may need >aid on some obscure point in the future, will you be >satisfied with "RTFM" as an answer? Everybody deserves a big, fat RTFM right in the kisser once in a while. >Lastly, remember, the person you insult today may be >discarding your resume from consideration tomorrow. RTFM is not an insult. Coming in here with dumb@ss questions that are answered in plain daylight in the FM and complemented in the KB + list archives is an insult to those here willing meet someone halfway. The questioners won't do a little homework but they expect us to type it all out, for the n-th time?
