Okay, I had to do some copy and paste, the whole file was too big to be posted (even if zipped). I hope I got the right lines caught: 11:20 15:22 SMTPD(015401E2) [81.2.176.136] connect 81.2.176.136 port 4075 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010334) [81.2.176.136] connect 213.82.117.131 port 21219 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010334) [213.82.117.131] HELO ic233 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010334) [213.82.117.131] MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010334) [213.82.117.131] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010334) [213.82.117.131] d:\IMAIL\spool\D9aca334.SMD 2073 11:20 15:23 SMTP-(0000015A) processing d:\IMAIL\spool\Q9aca334.SMD 11:20 15:23 SMTP-(0000015A) ldeliver inetcons.it p.imbemba-main (1) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2073 11:20 15:23 SMTP-(0000015A) finished d:\IMAIL\spool\Q9aca334.SMD status=1 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010350) [81.2.176.136] connect 81.2.176.136 port 4081 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010350) [81.2.176.136] HELO ns 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010350) [81.2.176.136] MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010350) [81.2.176.136] RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00010350) [81.2.176.136] ERR ns.suedtirol.com invalid user <[EMAIL PROTECTED] 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00040350) [81.2.176.136] connect 213.82.117.131 port 21220 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00040350) [213.82.117.131] HELO ic233 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00040350) [213.82.117.131] MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00040350) [213.82.117.131] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00040350) [213.82.117.131] ERR ns.suedtirol.com invalid user <[EMAIL PROTECTED] 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00060350) [81.2.176.136] connect 195.254.229.186 port 61001 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00060350) [195.254.229.186] HELO PC3 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00060350) [195.254.229.186] MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00060350) [195.254.229.186] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00060350) [195.254.229.186] ERR ns.suedtirol.com invalid user <[EMAIL PROTECTED] 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00060350) [195.254.229.186] MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00060350) [195.254.229.186] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 11:20 15:23 SMTPD(00060350) [195.254.229.186] ERR ns.suedtirol.com invalid user <[EMAIL PROTECTED] I did test this one: Set "no relay" and unchecked "Disable SMTP AUTH". My goal is that every user of our primary and virtual host(s) should use their uid and pwd to use the SMTP server. Now, if I use an existing e-mail from our primary host as sender and use our smtp server name *and* send the e-mail to a recipient of our virtual hosts, the e-mail will arrive without any error message - although I'm expecting somewhat like ERR 550 Relay not allowed. But: If I use a recipient that is *not* listed in our primary or virtual hosts ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), I get the error message '550 not local host yahoo.com, not a gateway'. You may find this test @ 11:20 15:23 regarding [EMAIL PROTECTED] The line before regards the delivery to one of our virtual hosts (inetcons.it) I have the feeling that primary and virtual host are not configured properly... IMail treats *all* with relay, although there should be a distinction between them. Thank you for any help :) Pasquale ______________________________________________________________________ Per te Blu American Express gratis! http://it.yahoo.com/mail_it/foot/?http://www.americanexpress.it/land_yahoo To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
