I've been wondering since sometime ago if IMail has a serious bug: when
a particular domain has an MX record with priority 0 the record is
ignored by IMail, if also an A record doesn't exist for the domain it
bounces the message with the Unknown host error message. Could someone
else please confirm this?

One domain that I'm having a problem like this right now is
unitel.com.bo but I have had with others in the past, I've solved them
with the kind help of the domain's administrators rising the priority
but I'm sure that it shouldn't be needed if IMail was doing it's job
right in the first place. Another way to solved is to add these domains
in our hosts file, not a nice solution either. It's my understanding
that 0 is the highest priority possible, if I'm right IMail it shouldn't
discard it at all.

Besides that, IMail it's not able to deliver mail to an MX record who's
address is an IP, not a name, I know that the RFC indicates that has to
be a name but many admins don't know or by mistake include the IP in
those records, many other mail servers are able to deliver to those
domains, (sendmail, postfix, netscape, mdaemon, just to name a few) I
just don't understand why the IMail development team doesn't include the
code to interpret an IP in those records, sounds as an easy thing to do
to me... I have several entries in my hosts file because of this and I
really don't like it.
