Explain that the domain they are sending to is broken. Explain to them that such broken things cause more spam and viruses.I'm an ISP as many of you are, what do you tell a customer when you're not able to deliver it's mail to a domain that has an IP in it's MX record?
Send them to http://www.DNSreport.com and have them enter the E-mail address there, if you want to prove it to them. :)They don't accept that only IMail is doing the right thing and the others aren't...
You could add the IP to the hosts file, and Cc: both the person your customer was sending to, and the postmaster on their domain, explaining the problem. Explain that their domain is broken, and needs to be fixed, and that if they don't fix it they will definitely have other problems.
