RAM has nothing to do with it.Well Venky to be quite honest I'd have to say I don't know. 6000+ email's to your members is quite a lot for just 1gb of ram.
20k to 30 k list msgs/hour is a reasonable number. 30 minutes should be more than enough to send all the sendable messages in 6000.
Imail's list queue processing of list messages is extremely flaky and unpredictable, as we've seen over and over on this list. Sometimes it goes out at 30k/hour, sometimes it just dribbles out and takes 24 hours today, but 1 hour yesterday. I've seen it myself.
But I've never seen anybody say "do this, and list deliveries will be fast and regular".
