While we are talking about RAM - does Imail server need/use a lot of RAM?
No, it does not normally.

For sending E-mails, it typically uses a maximum of 30 processes, which each typically use less than 3MB. That can add up to a lot (90MB), but will never go higher than the maximum.

I'd actually prefer Imail to use more RAM and less CPU.
That would be great, if it could. :)

Where are you seeing a lot of CPU usage (you can use the processes tab of the Task Manager, and click on the "CPU" button to see which are using the most CPU)?
