Re: [IMail Forum] SMTP AUTH Serious Problems on Saturday 11:34:35 AM

Well, I verified IMail is working properly. If I load Outlook Express
on each machine I test with it, then it authenticates and sends the
email:

01:25 12:53 SMTPD(02A201BE) [208.45.107.223] connect 208.45.107.97 port 3458
01:25 12:53 SMTPD(02A201BE) [208.45.107.97] EHLO xor
01:25 12:53 SMTPD(000000E2) Authenticated heath, session treated as local.
01:25 12:53 SMTPD(02A201BE) [208.45.107.97] MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
01:25 12:53 SMTPD(02A201BE) [208.45.107.97] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

But if I use The Bat! or Eudora or Pegasus, they just sit there
without doing anything, even though all the proper settings are used.
Of course if I put my IPs of my local machines in Relay for Addresses,
no problem. I'm wondering if this issue relates to just the local
network, but I have users with exactly the same complaints about
everything but Outlook. Maybe Sandy can tell me what settings he uses
in TheBat! ?? Frustrating... Here's what the Bat login looks like:

01:25 13:23 SMTPD(016901DE) [208.45.107.230] connect 208.45.107.97 port 3540
01:25 13:23 SMTPD(016901DE) [208.45.107.97] EHLO xor.wyndows.com
01:25 13:23 SMTPD(016901DE) [208.45.107.97] MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
01:25 13:23 SMTPD(016901DE) [208.45.107.97] RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
01:25 13:23 SMTPD(016901DE) [208.45.107.97] ERR rleeheath.com invalid user
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]

...logging just stops at that point...
