Actually, it isn't.How do I stop this server from trying the different ports on my server?
IMail will only answer on port 25, so if someone is trying different ports on your server, they won't show up in the IMail logs.
What we have here is 67.97.255.113 connecting to your port 25 from their port 4455. What is happening here is that the ports are increasing on 67.97.255.113 (as it is sending out a lot of mail). I can't explain why the connections would be timing out, however, or suggest whether it might be a problem on their end or your end. What we know is that they have sent the EHLO command, which IMail received. What we don't know is what happened after that (whether IMail responded, whether that response got to them, whether they sent back the "MAIL FROM:"). In this case, if the people running the remote mailserver aren't willing to help, there is little you can do. The information from their log files would be very, very useful in this case.
If they aren't willing to help, about the only thing I can think of that you could do on your end is run a packet sniffer, which would at least show IMail responding. But, if the problem is with a firewall, it would require running a packet sniffer outside the firewall (which normally isn't feasible), or assistance from the 67.97.255.113/g-cnet.com people.
