So with one IMGate box, he could set up one IMGate with queue lifetime of 2 hours as I recommend for his Imail box, and then another IMGate, on the same box, with queue lifetime of 5 days for his store/forward traffic. :))
I'm doing exactly this this week for an IMail user I consult for, but for different reasons. On one box, we'll have both a "paranoid/filtering" IMGate for clients who pay for filtering, and a "non-filtering" IMGate for the cheapo spameaters. :))
And, there are a lot of people who set up two IMGates on one box in another context: one for inbound filtering (little trust, expensive filtering) and another for outbound (lots of trust, minimal filtering).
