I am interested in this as well. I plan on rebuilding my iMail server
next week and have documented an identical plan. I do not have nearly
as many users as you do, but want to avoid losing everyone's passwords.

Eric, I don't understand how your response applies to users' passwords.
Please explain.

Make sure the URL you are using to get to the server is in the host
alias
for each domain/ If the URL is www.domain.com then www.domain.com needs
to
be there along with domain.com
