I'm running 6.06

And from what I hear your saying, 6.06 automatically, when sending mail, checks the A record of the recipient instead of the MX record, even if there aren't any errors on the recipient's end? What kind of mail server does that? Will this happen only to certain addresses under certain circumstances (because obviously many messages do get through to many recipients without these errors)? If so, what are these circumstances?

I'm uneasy about upgrading, but if that's what I'll have to do.....I still probably won't. Do you know how much it costs to upgrade Imail 6.06 to 7.x for unlimited users? I actually don't because their pricing strucure is ridiculously complex ;) I assume I have to get a service agreement for $595.

Thanks

So what fixes the bug on my end? I recently checked out our domain and
its MX record didn't have the reverse DNS lookup, so I'm in the process
of updating that, but could this have been the reason Imail went to the
A record instead of the MX record?

Did you see Robert's and Scott's post referencing older versions of Imail?

What version are you running?
