Scott, Thanks for the info. I'm still somewhat confused though. Reading your reply it sounds like it doesn't matter what the host name is? You said bubba.xyz.com or mail.xyz.com are both fine. Still, I can't help but wonder if it does matter. It seems like one should be the "correct" setup. Machinename.domain.com is different from mail.domain.com The first uses the network machine name as part of the name. The second option is just any domain of 100 domains that I serve mail for. I just pick one domain to be the official host name? It seems like there has to be more to it then that.
