I see this quite often where someone requests help off list, but the request is made to the list. Is there some etiquette I haven't heard of where you can't contact someone off list to ask for help without first asking on list? It seems to me that if the request was made directly that would be one less message the rest of us wouldn't have to view and delete and the person being asked for help wouldn't receieve any more messages that they would have otherwise.
