Today my server crashed again. This time a different IP address and I'm very sure the Relay is fine which is set to "Relay for Addresses". Is there a problem with Imail software?
See below, something very weird is happening with yours....
This is not the first time I got this problem. I really need HELP here.
Here is a copy of the log. I ended with thousands of gse file in the spooler directory and finally my server gave up.

how is this possible if you have "relay for addresses" ??
your anti-relay works for me, at least now:
# telnet 202.71.162.141 25 Trying 202.71.162.141... Connected to lifespanmortgage.com.au. Escape character is '^]'. 220 X1 NT-ESMTP Server mail.lifespanmortgage.com.au (IMail 6.06 96-3) ehlo this is len from Texas 250-mail.lifespanmortgage.com.au says hello 250-SIZE 5000000 250-8BITMIME 250-DSN 250-ETRN 250 EXPN mail from:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 250 ok RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 550 not local host yahoo.com, not a gateway quit 221 Goodbye Connection closed by foreign host.
I wonder, if Imail gets hit with a very high number of simultaneous SMTP connections, do the dozens or more of SMTPD processes get overwhelmed and fail to respect the relay, etc policies and settings?
Len
