We use BigBrother, http://www.bb4.net, If you are using it for non comercial purposes (i.e. you aren't charging for your monitoring service, or monitoring a customers server), it is free to use, They do have a comercial licence and also a new Professional version that are fairly pricey. It is a little work to learn and set up, configs are all text files, but is very flexible and can split monitoring among multiple servers, plus it can be extended to monitor new things. If you want there is also a clone called BigSister, http://bigsister.graeff.com, that is supposed to be more configurable for display, it is also free.

Is anyone using this product for IMail? http://www.woodstone.nu/salive/ It appears to be quite inexpensive and quite feature rich.
