If you use ColdFusion I wrote a great monitor that runs everything for
me. SMTP, pop, http, https etc. Posted it as a free tag. I run a
server at home on my dsl connection and monitor at 3-minute intervals,
paging my cell phone if something goes wrong

Get it from Macromedia at http://tinyclick.com/?BLYPZO

I'll throw in a vote for Nagios. http://www.nagios.org/
Not the easiest to configure by any stretch of the imagination.
But it works very well, and the price is right :-)

Hi;

We are evaluating a couple of products that are inline with WhatsUpGold
- I
know this is not that list but I thought this list could be of help ...

Is anyone using this product for IMail?

http://www.woodstone.nu/salive/

It appears to be quite inexpensive and quite feature rich.

Regards,
Kami
