One of my customers called and told us that several
emails from a certain individual is missing.
When I looked in the log files I noticed that the
connection gets established but the next line I find for the process reads
Idle timeout
I did a search in the archives and found that
someone else did experience the same. The response was that the TCP/IP
connection dropped.
The provider that is trying to send the mail is
Internet America.
I am not sure why the connection would drop like
that for the same email address every time he send mail today.
We are on a 100MB Fiber connection and Internet
America should be on a pretty big connection.
Not sure where to look or how to solve it. Not even
sure the problem is on my side or theirs but of course I am blaming them until
proved wrong :)
Could some one point me in the right direction
here?
