DNSREPORTS: shows the domain operational and functioning.... but, yes, it does not have a Reverse DNS PTR... but then again, I have sought assistance on that a couple of times in the past without response. But this has been the case [no reverse dns] since i first purchase Imail and that was ver. 6.0.

http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=mail.itsfx.com shows that 9netave.com is responsible for your reverse DNS; you need to ask them to either add a reverse DNS entry for you, or to delegate authority to your DNS servers. That's it. :)

PING/TELNET: the machine is behind a firewall that prevents those actions.

If your firewall blocks ping packets, your network administrator needs to get involved. If he disables basic networking tools, he'll need to be responsible for the problem.

Telnet in this context just means to telnet to port 25, which the firewall won't block (if it blocks that, it will block all SMTP).

Suggestions are appreciated.

I hate to say it, but this is one of the most basic mailserver administrative tasks.

LOOK AT THE LOG FILES. I've said it several times, it's the most basic thing you can do, so do it. Your log files WILL have the answer.
