HELP... this problem has KILLED my primary domain service.
Which problem? A virus sent through E-mail will NOT harm your E-mail server except in rare cases (if you have a mail client on the mailserver and open the file, or if it ends up being a DoS type situation).
I have performed all of the patches and completed all of the suggested features to eliminate the virus from my client and server machines. Additionally, I have deleted all email accounts for that domain and have re-input them all... to no avail.
Note that deleting the accounts and re-creating them won't accomplish anything, unless the virus somehow altered either the .mbx files, the registry, or other related information (which would be very rare).
I am unable to send nor receive any mail under that account.
I have not been able to determine from the KB any suggestions to correct this.
What you need to do is describe the problem in detail. Is this problem happening with all domains on the server? Just some? Just some user accounts?
When you try to send E-mail, what happens? Do you get a bounce message? If so, what does it say? What do the log files say?
When you try to receive E-mail, what happens?
