Travis... thanks for your pointed questions. Please realize that I am not a highly technical person, but somewhat capable of doing some things.

DNSREPORTS: shows the domain operational and functioning.... but, yes, it does not have a Reverse DNS PTR... but then again, I have sought assistance on that a couple of times in the past without response.  But this has been the case [no reverse dns] since i first purchase Imail and that was ver. 6.0.

PING/TELNET: the machine is behind a firewall that prevents those actions.

MACHINE: the machine is fully operational and has been functioning well all along.

FIREWALL: No change have been made to the firewall in the past few months.

My actions:
    1) I have on the machine NetShield running.
    2) I don't have Declude on the machine
    3) I have ran the STINGER program to remove the virus.
    4) I have followed MS's suggestions on removal of the virus and actions to take.
    5) All patches are currently [and were currently] up-to-date for the machine.
    6) All other domains within Imail are operational.
    7) I am running Imail 7.15 ... without incident since 7.15 came out.
    8) Machine is not experiencing any unusual activities or loads.

Suggestions are appreciated.

Bryant

Also - lets see some logs.

And do you have the correct settings for Control Access on the SMTP service?

Which domain is this?  If it's itsfx.com, then going to www.dnsreport.com will yield you some useful information.  You mail server (A) has no reverse DNS PTR and (B) I can't ping or telnet to it.  And www.dnsreport.com says it doesn't even exist.

So...lets check the physical layer first.  Can you surf the net from this computer?  Have you verified the connection to the internet?  Are all of the services running?  Have you recently changed your firewall settings?

The fact that I can't even telnet to your server makes me think you need to look at the big picture first.  Don't out-think yourself.

HELP... this problem has KILLED my primary domain service. I have performed all of the patches and completed all of the suggested features to eliminate the virus from my client and server machines.  Additionally, I have deleted all email accounts for that domain and have re-input them all... to no avail.  I am unable to send nor receive any mail under that account.

I have not been able to determine from the KB any suggestions to correct this.

Try becoming better informed about what is going on on the Internet.

Why are you assuming it is an Imail problem?

Did you happen to notice they all contained an attachment?

Did you happen to take good administrative steps and investigate what the attachment is?

Have you ever head of a file sent in an e-mail required to change a password?

If big huge flashing red lights did not pop up in your head when you saw these, then maybe…

Does the work Virus or Trojan mean anything to you?

For some strange reason, all of my accounts are receiving an email from the administrator indicating that the email accounts are expiring.  I am not sending them, and have been deleting the admin account(s) [on all of my domains] to stop this problem... but it continues to return... Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

Bryantand are there any other "hidden" bumps?
