Ok, you delete an account; yet, mail continues to come in at that address. Of course, it kills the message and sends an error message back to the sender, but 9 out of 10 times, that sender is a spam program. I also get people trying to send mail to stars, like [EMAIL PROTECTED] or Arnold.
What can we do to block that? I receive over 500 messages to invalid users a day and feel it is just wasted bandwidth. Also, I notice a lot of spam coming through still. It is getting worse, as the spammers are figuring out ways around the spam filters. My question is does Imail record the IP addresses of the spammers? So, if I get spam from 212.212.212.212, will all mail from that address in the future be blocked? If not, why not keep track of how much they send and then ban them.
