500  SMTP  headers a day is a joke, bandwidth-wise! 500 *thousand*, of
course, is another story and can readily tie up improperly architected
systems.  Your  5xx  reject  count  will likely be some combination of
company/provider  size,  notoriety,  and  chance.  500  per day is not
anything  to  worry  about...unless  you're  running,  say,  a  386 on
ThickNet. :)
