Ditto. Unless you PERSONALLY have your own DNS-based blacklist, I wouldn't
trust anyone else's 100%. The sole exception I can think of is one of those
blacklists that list IPs of specific countries, but ONLY if you know for a
fact that NO customers on your server are ever going to receive legit e-mail
from those countries. If I used a mail server for just myself, I would
probably blacklist all of China, but will not chance it with more people
using my mail server than I know personally well enough to conclude that
they
would never receive a legit e-mail from there. Of course, if you want to
use these lists by domain, I think that the individual domain owner would
know whether or not they expected to receive any legit e-mail from
notorious spam-ridden countries like China, Taiwan, South Korea or Brazil.
Oh, I just thought of one other. The FLOWGO blacklist. It lists all known
IP addresses of a single, large spamming organization. If it comes from
FLOWGO, it IS spam.
