Imail v 8.02
Windows 2003 Server
New Installation
Declude 1.75??

I am seeing a problem where the Queue Manager will send all the mail out
of the queue when the service starts, then nothing else will be sent
until the service is restarted.

This is a clean installation on a new machine. I started with version
8.0 and upgraded all the way to 8.03 with the same results. I am at
version 8.02 just due to the newness of the 8.03 patch.

The short term solution was to create a scheduled task to restart the
service every three minutes, which is getting the mail delivered, but I
don't see that as a real solution.

I have checked the registry for IP errors.

DNS is working.

Permissions on the spool folder seem good.

The spool folder has less than 100 objects, and less than 2 megs of
files right after the restart. That grows to a few hundred files in the
course of the following few minutes. Then the task runs and we are back
to the minimums, and the mail is delivered.

QM settings:
Delivery Threads: 45
Max Retry Threads: 15
Listen Pipes: 10
Retry Timer: 10

I have removed Declude with no changes in the results.

The rest of the box looks good. We did a week long burn in with no
errors, so I am pretty confident we don't have a hardware problem.

Any thoughts?
