RE: [IMail Forum] Hundreds of .smd files in spool

The "T" files are "Q" files where the D*.SMD file hasn't been fully 
downloaded.  This normally indicates current E-mail that is in the process 
of being received, but can also occur for other reasons (such as during a 
server crash).
