William,

Thank you for your offer. Because I am offering "Data Only" services my
Certificate of Public Convenience will be limited to data service only. I am
not required to provide maps of the service territory, no 911 surcharge, or
any other voice grade associated tariff, however I must include tariff
referencing my coverage area with services provided (dsl). I am relieved of
all voice tariff information. Also the application fee is way less than if I
were going to a full CLEC umbrella application. I will keep your contact
information handy incase I feel im getting in a strange place with this
venture. BTW, I've got another one for your "Hall of Shame" WVFiberNet
http://www.wvfibernet.net/home.html had a sales rep promise me the world if
I were to switch my voice t1 circuit over to their company. They said it
would take 3 business days to re-provision the circuit from the lec. ( lucky
me I had 4 pots rollover lines extra ) 3 weeks later the circuit was still
dead. I ended up having to resign with Verizon for the service. They did the
same thing to our local hospital ( down for a week ) and several other
companies. Those People can't even provision a simple pots without having an
outage of several days. They finally had their ticket pulled in pa but moved
to West Virginia, hopefully they have gotten their act together </rant>

Vincent,

Did you have a regulatory attorney handle the paperwork for your CLEC
application? If not, you REALLY want to look into having a specialist handle
this. If you are registering as a common carrier, it is pretty much a must.
Feel free to contact me off list if you would like info on how to locate a
qualified regulatory attorney. I will be happy to point you in the right
direction.

Subject: [IMail Forum] [WAY OT] DSL services and "Data Only" CLEC status.

Has anyone ever dealt with providing facility based dsl service. Im having a
hard time dealing with verizon. Im trying to submit my clec application but
need to have proposed tariffs included with the application. I can not make
any proposed tariffs if verizon does not provide me with their clec tariff
information. No one at verizon that I have talked to ( in wholesale group
and asp markets ) seems to have a clue as to who I should call or what im
talking about. If anyone has a contact person or any information they could
provide it would be appreciated.

thanks
