It  sucks to see people get victimized by others' ignorance. They have
the time to send you threats, but never made time to understand SMTP.

IMO,  you'd  be justified in takind a very stern tone with them, since
they are essentially spamming you with inappropriate warnings. Explain
that  you  take credible reports of spam seriously, but forged headers
are  not credible. Here are some sites you can point them to that will
