The open socks proxie is a fairly new thing with imail server (well is to me Ive never had to deal with it before august of this year).
There are no settings in imail server that control this. The way I relsolved it was by blocking the port that the open proxie uses by setting an IPSEC security rule that blocks all unneccassary ports on my mail server.
