Gang --

Had about 37 emails with the old "message.zip" MiMail virus attached coming
through my server on Saturday. (Strangely, no MiMail.c's .... just
MiMail.a). My first inbound rule for my domain should've stripped these
suckers off ... or at least they should've been caught by IMail's Anti-Virus
1.1. Instead, they made it all the way to Declude Junkmail, where they were
deposited into the Spam folder (thank you, Declude!). Then, a scheduled
Norton Corporate scan of the server detected the virus-laden emails.

So, what might be broken here? I suspect IMail's Anti-Virus since it didn't
catch them first. But, unless my understanding of rules is flawed, IMail
itself should have stripped these by rule, no?

Many thanks for your diagnosis!

Ted

P.S. - How does one know if IMail AV 1.1 is even working? The IMail Admin
interface leaves little evidence. My Services does show Symantec Antivirus
Engine and Symantec Antivirus Engine Watchdog both enabled and started.
